Target Baby Clearance: Cosco Scenera $25!



My Target is having a great clearance sale in the baby department.  Many of the clearance clothes are between $1.50 and $4!  The best deals were the bigger ticket baby items.  They had probably 10 pink Cosco Scenera's for $25!!!  This is a top rated car seat!  I bought two of the brown model a few months ago.  I was VERY tempted to take them back and pick up a few of these, but I didn't think my husband would let me put my little boy in a pink seat.  They also had a Graco travel system for $50!  If you are in the market for a highchair, car seat, or stroller, I'd check out your local Target clearance!

If you have ever shopped online and not gone through Ebates, you have probably lost money!  I learned about Ebates last year and have been shopping through them ever since.  My husband and I bought a few electronics on Wal-Mart.com and had them shipped for free.  But even more exciting is that we went through Ebates and got a percentage of our money back!  Sometimes stores have special promotions where you can even get 50% back in a check!  So far I've received over $30 back on things I would have bought anyway!

Green is Good: Wash Swim Diapers!

If you know me personally, you probably know I am not a champion of the green movement.  However, I do believe that this planet is a gift and we should take care of it.  That being said, let's think of this idea as GREEN and not super cheapo, okay? 

Did you know you can WASH Huggies Little Swimmers and Pampers Splashers diapers?  I didn't believe it at first either, so I tried it.  It works!  Make sure you wash on cold and air dry.  (I accidentally ran one through the drier and it actually survived, but I wouldn't recommend it.)  So, not only do you only have to buy one package of these diapers a year, but you also won't be cluttering up trash heaps with your kids old stinky swim diapers!

If you missed it last week, the Old Navy Groupon is back!  For $10 you get $20 to spend at Old Navy.  Make sure you read the fine print, because there are some quirks.  For example, you cannot combined with coupons and if you wait until after it "expires" it is only worth $10 (so at least you wouldn't lose money!).

Free Dove Men's Deodorant! Hurry and Print the Coupon!

UPDATE:  Whoa!  This may have been the hardest coupon to redeem!  I headed to CVS to use it.  They had ONE deodorant.  I had two coupons, so I used one and headed to another CVS.  They had NONE!  I headed to another CVS.  They had one and wouldn't let me use the coupon because it said "Redeem at Walmart."  They have ALWAYS taken my coupons that say "Redeem at ________" in the past!

My plan was to price match at Walmart and then use the coupon to get the freebie.  I headed to Walmart and they didn't have the CVS ad (even though their price match policy states that you don't have to bring in your own ad).  So, I headed BACK to Walmart today with the ad and coupon in hand.  Of course the cashier is completely taken by surprise that I want to price match!  What? Huh? She has no idea what I meant, even though there are signs posted EVERYWHERE that say "We Price Match!"  She finally threatens to get the manager to sort this out, I am relieved!  The cashier told the manager that she wouldn't price match because it was a big difference in price.  When the manager said it didn't matter the cashier then said that she shouldn't because it came with the free sample of body wash.  Does this money come out of the cashier's pocket?  When I showed her the coupons, she was beyond ticked with me!  How dare I try to use a coupon on a price match.  After another call to the manager and some very evil looks from the people behind me in line, I finally got it for free.  In the end, it probably wasn't worth it!

Starting Sunday, CVS's deals this week will include $.99 Men's Dove Deodorant.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 3/27/11 RP or the one HERE (you can print it twice) to get it FREE.  My guess is the coupon won't last long once the ads come out!

When you buy four and use the coupons, you will spend $8 and get $10 in ECBs, so you actually make money (in ECBs)!  I will warn you to hurry. I hit up two CVS stores and bought their entire stock!
